The Russian company “Rosnano” will invest 550 million rubles in the production of microsystems in St. Petersburg

The Russian manufacturing plant of microsystems and detectors will be built to 2012. These goods will be used in the navigating receivers GLONASS / GPS, in the mobile phones and in the high-frequency digital broadcasting equipment. The Roslano firm plans to invest in the manufacturing 550 million rubles, so the common budget of that project is estimated in 1.24 billion rubles. “The output of project on the planned factors should begin in 2015” –said the corporation.
It is planned that the main portion of project’s revenue will be got from the sellings of energy-efficient and affordable systems, which have a big number of the operating temperatures. And these temperatures are used for regulating the stress-strain state of the building structures. The security systems of gas-processing is about to have a high percentage of sales. Besides, the project company will carry out the manufacturing of microsystems which is the resistant to the aggressive environmental conditions.
The originator and co-investor of the project is the St. Petersburg company “Avangard” and it intends to provide “the intellectual possession in the patents, the know-hows and in the sets of design and technological documentation”. The sponsors suggest to invite the experts from different Russian scientific centers, especially – from the Kotelnikov’s Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics, in order that they participate in working on the new collection of micros.
Experts say that the world market’s volume of sensors and components was about $ 51 billion in 2008. And It is expected that if the growth rate is about five % per year, the volume will be about $ sixty seven billion in 2018.
